ABOUT THE MAKER

Turkish towels are traditionally hand-made on looms in 100% Turkish cotton and have been used in their bathhouses, called hammams, for centuries. A premium cotton with extra-long fibers, Turkish cotton is a luxurious material that gets softer and more absorbent with each use. These multifunctional textiles can also be used as a lightweight throw, wrap (or peshtemal), or beach blanket.

CARE

Machine washable. Using a gentle cycle in the washing machine and drying on low heat, air drying or hang dry will help preserve the cotton and the fringe. It is recommended to avoid fabric softeners, dryer sheets and bleach and to keep the wash temperature below 30°C. Over time and with use, the fringe may untie. To prevent this, check fringe before washing for loose knots and tighten as necessary.
