Turkish rug handcrafted in Anatolia using vintage hemp fibers instead of the traditional wool for a soft hand and modern style. Turkish villagers produced hemp until the 1960’s when it was prohibited, and today, weavers utilize the vintage yarns to craft new contemporary designs. This design features a banded pattern in soft natural ivory and taupe shades with black accents.

From their nascency, Anatolian rugs were seen as much more than functional objects; their profound symbolic motifs were intended to educate and inspire, telling the story of their makers, their homes, hopes, and dreams.
