Elea Lelimouzin is a ceramicist based near Bordeaux, France. Working with clay quickly became a natural answer as she was seeking a more concrete, meaningful life and purpose. She shapes clay by hand, using various techniques such as pinching, slab building or coiling. Each of her pieces is handcrafted with patience, intention and care. She desires her work to be raw, sober and imperfect, and only works with black stoneware that is decorated and glazed using her own recipes.
